Duʿā an-Nāsirī – The Prayer of the Oppressed

Duʿā an-Nāsirī – The Prayer of the Oppressed

Composed by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Nāsir ad-Dāri, Duʿā an-Nāsirī is a call to Allah, asking Him to protect the Muslims from the plots and schemes of those who wish to do them harm. This duʿā was originally recited during the brutal French occupation of Morocco, and due to it’s power, was banned by the occupiers from being recited.

This recording was made in Nottingham on the 14th October 2023. The gathering was concluded with this duʿā, recited specifically for the innocent souls trapped in Palestine, for the alleviation of all their hardships and for all Muslims, wherever they are suffering. In these dark times, filled with oppression, misinformation and confusion, our greatest hope is in mending our connection with Allah and turning to Him in sincere repentance.

We pray He accepts our efforts. Amīn.

Thank you to Hamza Bouzhar for the powerful recitation.
